This piece was inspired by one of my favorite MN state parks - Jay Cooke. I stay there every winter with my family escaping the city into the quiet beauty of nature. There's something deeply restorative about being in wilderness during winter.
It is made of merino wool, variety of art yarn, felted color core wool, jute, banana fiber, cotton rope, leather T-shirt yarn. It is 23" in height, 17" in width, 3" in depth. It hangs on black 19" dowel.
