Pele- The Goddess of Fire
This piece has been inspired by my recent trip to Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii. While creating it, I hoped to express the spirituality and beauty of the Big Island. The tension between destruction and creation is incredible and felt all over the island.
This piece is READY TO SHIP. It is made of finest fibers including-merino wool, roving, cotton rope, felted rope, raffia, leather T-shirt yarn, corespun alpaca yarn.
It is 60”wide and hangs 51” tall, with about 3” of depth. Black dowel and black leather straps included for installation.
