This piece is inspired by the tranquility of flowing water. Here in Minnesota, we are surrounded by creeks, rivers, and countless lakes. Water has a uniquely calming effect, and this piece reflects that sense of peace and serenity. Like much of my work, its rich texture speaks to the complexity and many layers of human experience.
It is made of merino wool cotton rope, variety of felted wool, art yarn, handmade cord, wound rope, core spun rug yarn, leather cord. It is 52" tall, 27" wide, and 3" in depth. It hangs on 32" walnut dowel.
