Weaving Process

Here are a few photos documenting the process behind my most recent piece. Recently, I’ve been exploring I-cord tool. Have you tried it? I love its rhythmic, meditative quality. I’m also finding myself increasingly drawn to texture. Much of my time has been spent creating cord, winding rope, and tying knots. Slow, repetitive acts that prepare the individual elements that will ultimately come together in this tapestry.
